Nowadays, the society still takes advantage of library rarely. It is shown by a small number of visitors who take advantage of references collection. One of the factor that cause this fact is the literacy of society which means an avbility to know, to evaluate and to use the needed information effectively. The literacy can be formed by user education program that firstly acquaints the users about the vast of library collection, services, and informational materials available for them, and secondly teaches how they attain those library benefits so that they are able to search information and use it correctly. The user education is achieved by library orientation which means the short course designed to give the users knowledge in taking advantage of library. By this program, the user literacy will be improved well.ifa.
