There are many different interpretations of ijtihad, part af them are narrower and other are more free. Example is al Syatibi, he is the fundamental reformer of ushul fiqh. He tries to reduce the ijtihad meaning. He emphasizes in maximal strive of mujtahid with out any physics burden to their weakness, in other to give the wide move and dynamic of ijtihad. Principally, part of ulama are have equal interpretations of ijtihad, namely to maximally the mind to get the definitive law from Qur'an and hadits. In this context, ijtihad has real and operative meaning toward al Qur'an and hadits that contain the common meaning. There are two focus studies of ijtihad, first, Istinbath al Ahkam [To conclude the law from its sources], second Tathbiq al Ahkam [to apply the law to the right place properly]. By the juridical formal approach, this paper want to gasp the ijtihad of judges of religion court is relevant with their task, especially correlated with the judicial duty, namely about...ifa.
